ABOUT SEEWI

Alexxa Elseewi, born and raised in San Clemente, CA AKA “The Spanish Village By The Sea.”

Growing up in San Clemente, surfing was an inevitable part of life. Alexxa caught her first wave at age 5, and from that moment, she was hooked. Surfing came naturally to her, leading her to pursue the sport professionally. Over the years, she earned numerous wins and sponsorships while competing on the WSL QS, including being named a 4X NSSA National Women's Champion. Alexxa has had the support of major brands like O'Neill, REEF, SunBum, SUJA, Lost Surfboards, and Jacks.

Surfing has opened countless doors for Alexxa, from traveling the world to meeting lifelong friends and connecting with nature. But through it all, she has found her true purpose in the Lord. Surfing is not only a sport but a gift she knows she has been blessed with. Teaching others to surf has become a deep source of joy for her—especially witnessing someone catch their first wave. These moments remind her of the pure joy and wonder of the ocean, bringing her back to the heart of why she fell in love with surfing in the first place.

Alexxa's passion for surfing and teaching is intertwined with her faith. Along with being a professional surfer, Alexxa is a musician, singer-songwriter, and model. She is dedicated to using her talents to shine light and inspire others, knowing that everything she does is part of her mission to glorify God.

With a culturally diverse background—Egyptian, El Salvadorian, and Peruvian—Alexxa recently reconnected with her El Salvadorian roots, further deepening her connection to the surf world and the vibrant cultures she cherishes.

Passionate about sharing the stoke of surfing, Alexxa now teaches and coaches all ages and skill levels along the California coast through her program, SEEWI SURF SKOOL.
